Jyoti Supernaturel on stage: two shows, jam sessions and joint records

On his 2018 Artisti in Piazza festival card, Jyoti Supernaturel lists two programmes. Miracle of Balance runs 20 minutes and consists of balancing acts with crystal balls. The illusion show with cards and coins runs 40 minutes. By his account, some of its numbers come from historical research and more than half are his own inventions. He names one more format, a hypnosis-concert in which music joins the crystal balls.

His venues vary. In an interview with the website Artifex he recalls street shows in Thailand where the crowds grew so dense that traffic stopped. The Artifex editor describes his concert on Ko Pha Ngan in May 2015. In Russia Jyoti played in Moscow and St Petersburg and gave a concert at an airfield in Ryazan. He measures success by whether people stop, watch and smile.

He rarely rehearses in the usual sense. By his account he plays small improvised gigs with friends in India and treats them as live rehearsals. In the conversation he names the musicians he works with: Yonathan Ohana, Avi Adir, David Swarup, Tetouze and Andrey Tanzu. According to Jyoti, Ohana builds his own instruments, and each one takes about two years.

Some collaborations left a record. On 10 April 2020 ELENKRIG released the single The Shaman's Prophecy with Jyoti among the featured artists: six minutes forty-six seconds, on Miniatures Records.

In 2021 two collections of jam sessions appeared under the Exodus Creative Lab imprint. Boka-Svemirski Trajekt, released on 22 October, holds three parts of Space Jam that add up to 42 minutes. Andrei Lubalin and FLOOR IS LAVA play on them, with Konstantin Fedorov and Kiruza joining different parts. Supernatural Jam, released on 5 November, has four parts and runs 1 hour 42 minutes, and its longest part lasts almost 45 minutes. Lucid Mantra / Rudrakshiva and FLOOR IS LAVA recorded it with Jyoti. Lucid Mantra / Rudrakshiva also appears on Madhu from the album Miracle of Balance, and FLOOR IS LAVA joins on Hublo.

The name Tetouze from the 2018 interview shows up again on the newest release we found. The single The Goanishads came out on Labo Logic on 7 April 2025, and its second track, Rift (feat. Jyoti Supernaturel), lasts 4 minutes 46 seconds. Jyoti appears there as a guest of a musician he named among his partners in 2018.
